Sheldon Coopers Black Hole Spewing Shirt

I don't know what the print on this shirt is referencing exactly, but it appears to be featuring a star in the foreground and a galaxy's black hole spewing light in the back. If anyone knows anymore about where this exact picture originates, where to purchase this tee, or wants to correct me on what I thought this was, let me know in the comments below. Thanks!

Our very own master detective, Dave, has struck again, folks, helping us out with this one.

This appears to be a still image from an animation by Goddard Media Studios which compares the "heart beats" of two black holes. The still image itself shows a black hole (within its accretion disc) flaring up from behind a star in the foreground. This particular black hole (named IGR J17091-3624, after the astronomical coordinates of its sky position) also happens to be a candidate for one of the smallest black holes we've ever discovered.

I've yet to find a shirt with this image printed on it, but perhaps now that we know what the heck it is, someone will hook us up with one. Until then, though, why not click here for more information on this black hole, its heart beats, its discovery, and all the rest of that stuff I can't quite comprehend.

And another hearty thanks to Dave for cluing us in on this one. Thanks, Dave!

Sheldon Coopers Photon Collision Shirt

The wormhole from 2001: A Space Odyssey? A Windows 95 screensaver? Your guess is as good as mine (and probably much better). If anyone has any insight into this Sheldon tee, let me know in the comments below. Thanks!

Here we have shirt featuring an image captured from CERN showing events taken place in the Large Hadron Collider.

The exact photo is entitled "CMS-PHO-EVENTS-2011-010-10" (click here for more) with a description that goes as follows:
A typical candidate event including two high-energy photons whose energy (depicted by red towers) is measured in the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter. The yellow lines are the measured tracks of other particles produced in the collision.

The shirt Sheldon wears appears to be a simple print of the above photo onto a plain t-shirt. I haven't yet found another one online and am a bit unsure of the legality of me tossing one together myself from a website such as Zazzle or Redbubble. If you can find someone who's already on top of this, however, let me know in the comments below!

Also, a big thanks goes out to Dave for cluing me in that this shirt had nothing to do with either 2001: A Space Odyssey or a Windows 95 screen saver. Who knew?

Sheldon Coopers 'Minimal Solar System' Shirt

Created by kellabell9, Sheldon first wore this shirt from Design by Humans in the seventeenth episode of the tenth season of The Big Bang Theory. It features the planets of our solar system lined up.

Here's another shirt from Design by Humans. This one is made by the user, kellabell9, and is entitled 'Minimal Solar System'. If the photo in the Amazon link below doesn't match the color above, don't worry. Once you click on it the other colors will be made available to you.

Sheldon Coopers Higgs Boson Shirt

I've yet to find this one. If you have any information, drop it in the comments below.

On this tee, Sheldon can be see sporting an image of the no-longer-elusive Higgs Boson. The photo above is only one of several colors of this shirt Sheldon can be seen wearing throughout the series.

While I've thus far been unable to find an exact match for the shirt Sheldon's seen wearing here (if you do, be sure to let me know!), hopefully for the time being this other celebratory Higgs t-shirt will hold you over.

Also, special thanks to the Anonymous commenter to helped out on this one! You guys are way smarter than me.

I've yet to find the origin of this shirt, let alone where it can be purchased. I'll update when or if possible. Until that day comes, I sadly don't have squat.

I couldn't find out where this shirt is from or what it's in reference to. It appears to be showing a nebula though so I'll refer to it as such until I learn otherwise.

Sheldon Coopers 'Shuttle Launch' Shirt

Oddly enough, I can't find a print of a shirt like this anywhere. It seems to be nothing more than a pressed on print of an actual shuttle launch.
