Sheldon Coopers Diversity Ship Shirt

Arrrr, me matey's! During all me treacherous journeys 'round the vast oceans of the interwebs, I've came across plenty'a visually similar shirts to this one. To me hearts discontent, I've still yet to find one which exactly matches to this beauty! Suffice it to say, it's quite ARRRRgrivating.

Ahem. But anyway. It appears to be a hand-drawn illustration of ships and boats in the water. I see no pirates or skull and crossbones flags or anything, so I can't quite say why I just felt compelled to do that terrible pirate shtick. Pirates or no pirates, though, I'll keep my eyes open for this one. One of the ships has "DIVERSITY" written on it, which I hear from Urban Dictionary is this:

An old, old wooden ship that was used during the civil war era to deliver large supplies of puréed walnuts from the South to the North. The walnuts were used as a replacement for toilet paper, due to the wartime shortage. Despite the volitile relationship between the two countries at the time, the North figured that it was more important to have a clean ass than to place an embargo on the South's nut shipments. The South figured,"Hell, we need the money".

There have been complaints from the authorities about a lack of diversity in the News Room.

So, you know. Take that as you may.

UPDATE!

Well, apparently I was way off the mark on this one (to a humiliating extent). This t-shirt is apparently a reference to none other than Ron Burgundy, from the film Anchorman, as he attempts to explain to a coworker what he thinks of diversity:
"Well, I could be wrong, but I believe, uh, diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era."
Really kicking myself for not catching this one. But thanks to the anonymous commenters who pointed it out. To purchase a replica of the tee from Zazzle, check out the link below:

Sheldon Coopers Higgs Boson Shirt

I've yet to find this one. If you have any information, drop it in the comments below.

On this tee, Sheldon can be see sporting an image of the no-longer-elusive Higgs Boson. The photo above is only one of several colors of this shirt Sheldon can be seen wearing throughout the series.

While I've thus far been unable to find an exact match for the shirt Sheldon's seen wearing here (if you do, be sure to let me know!), hopefully for the time being this other celebratory Higgs t-shirt will hold you over.

Also, special thanks to the Anonymous commenter to helped out on this one! You guys are way smarter than me.

Sheldon Coopers Yellow, Round Graphic Shirt

Unfortunately, I have no information regarding this yellow shirt with a round, scibble-looking graphic on the front. Sorry.

Here's one for all of you paleontologist out there. Or, well, at least all of you Jurassic Park fans. It's a blue shirt featuring a red drawing of the king of the Mesozoic era himself: the T-Rex. To purchase this shirt, check out the Amazon link below.

Sheldon Coopers 'The Wonderful Human Machine' Shirt

This enigma of a shirt is of an unknown origin, as far as my searches were concerned. As seen from the above photos, there appears to be a picture of a tree, a skeletal hand (dangling from something), an arm, a heart and there's clearly some sort of lettering on it. My assumption was that the lettering would help nail down the origins of the shirt (or at least what it was in reference to) but, try as I may, I could never quite make out what it was saying. Until I horizontally flipped the photo, at least. Then found...

Why the lettering was backwards on the show, I don't know. And I still don't have a clue as to whether this shirt is merely an abstract piece of art, a pop-cultural reference, or a representation of something within the sciences (biological, I'd assume). But now at least we have a name to refer to it as: The Wonderful Human Machine.

Perhaps my favorite shirt of Sheldon's that originated from Design by Humans, this shirt features an astronaut carrying a collection of planets on a balloon string. You can purchase it from DesignByHumans.com or by clicking the Amazon link below.

Sheldon Coopers Recycled Tree Shirt

Here's another mystery shirt. The title I've given is just something I made up, as I can't find any reference online as to what the real name of this shirt is or where it was made. It appears to be a tree or a tree-shaped object. Upon a closer inspection, I've been able to make out things like a paint roller, a shovel and the universal recycling symbol. Which leads me to believe that perhaps the shirt is somehow environment related. That's just a guess, though.

Sheldon Coopers 'Radar' Shirt

Here we have an awesome shirt that I really wanted to find and couldn't (dangit). Searched everywhere for it — nada. Apparently it's a work of the Buffalo David Bitton brand, though, and it's entitled 'Radar'.

Sheldon Coopers 'Flash Lightning' Shirt

This shirt originated with the fall 2007 collection by CTRL Clothing. There used to be much better replicas of this shirt out there but they've all seemed to have disappeared. But at least we have something more-or-less that mimics it thanks to some clever fans out there on the internet. It's a bit amateurish in comparison to the original but I think it suffices alright. For now, at least. To purchase it, click on the link below to be directed to Amazon.com.

Sheldon Coopers 'Mow-Em Down' Shirt

This Banksy-esque looking design appears to be depicting someone literally mowing down what looks to be a series of fighter planes. I've yet to find out if this is in reference to anything specific thing in pop-culture or if its merely a work of art. Either way, you can purchase it from the Amazon link right below this sentence.

Sheldon Coopers 'Life Cube' Shirt

Why is this t-shirt entitled 'Life Cube', you ask? I haven't the foggiest notion. But I saw that someone on some other website had confidently referred to it as such, so I stole the idea. As you've probably guessed, I don't know where we can get our hands on this bizarre, H.R. Pufnstuf-looking item. Wish I did though. Not knowing what this bizarre image represents is killing me.

Sheldon Coopers 'Kablaam' Shirt

I'm honestly unsure of what exactly it is that this shirt is in reference to. It has the same title as that old Nickelodeon TV show, but I don't get the impression that that awesome series and this awesome shirt are at all related (aside from the aforementioned awesomeness). Maybe it's just a plain old drawing of an exploding monitor on an old computer? Perhaps it's a deep, philosophical metaphor on the futility of life? I dunno. Either way, you can purchase this shirt from the link below (the link opens in a new window).

Sheldon Coopers 'InnerCircle' Shirt

Part of Sheldon's Design by Human collection of t-shirts, this shirt featuring circle graphics comes in a variety of different colors. I'd stick with purple, though, mostly because it's just fun to say "Purple Circle Graphic" (go ahead, try it). However, Sheldon can be seen wearing more than one color of this tee within the series. Also, maybe it's best not to chose your clothing by what's the most phonetically pleasing to the ear. But, hey, I dunno.

Sheldon Coopers Boombox Shirt

I couldn't find any information for this shirt whatsoever. It first appears on season 02, episode 08 of The Big Bang Theory and appears to picture some cartoon speakers or a boombox. So, uh... that's what I titled it.

Anyways. If anyone can find any information on this sucker be sure to let me know and we'll try to get it added.
