Yeah, that's right. Fan blades. If there's a cultural or scientific thing that this t-shirt is referencing that I'm not getting, someone please leave me a message and enlighten me. Because this particular t-shirt is a pain in the tookus (excuse my Yiddish) to find. Thus far I've come up empty handed in my searches. Please, internet, let's join forces to hunt this sucker down!

The fan blades represent the fans gamers build into their gaming computers to keep them cool. Most hard core gamers either upgrade the internal fans, get exterior fans or build a custom gaming system from scratch with heavy duty cooling fans with heatsinks.

ReplyDeleteThe “fan-shaped” lobes represent regions where an electron is more likely to be found. The dark and light sections indicate opposite phases of the wavefunction, not positive and negative electrical charges. The elaborate shapes are probably higher-energy d and f orbitals.
