Sheldon Coopers White Chevron Shirt

Here's one that's always baffled me. At first glance, my natural assumption was that it's merely an ordinary, generic design (similar to his striped shirts). But then again, it seems a tad, I dunno... showy? So maybe there's more to it that I'm missing. Whatever the case, I couldn't find a replica of it anywhere online.

  1. I believe the t-shirt is based on the DC comic book Vigilante. https://www.google.com/search?q=dc+vigilante+comic&safe=off&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiRytbt3a_VAhXhx4MKHRuNAlUQ_AUICigB&biw=1366&bih=638

  2. Oh, wow. That's a great catch, Davisgang! I'm starting a hunt for it right now and can already tell it's going to be a grueling one (a search for "Vigilante" in comic books is mostly bringing up Batman and Punisher hits... dangit) but, nevertheless, you've contributed a great starting point. Thanks again!

  3. It’s not vigilante...it was a VERY short lived aquaman symbol

    1. Hi, Michael, thanks for the contribution (and apologies for the late reply, I never saw a frickin' notification). Do you happen to have any more information on the symbol (i.e., links, when/where it was featured, etc?) I can't seem to come up with anything.

Either way, thanks again for adding to the site. It's super appreciated.

  4. I thought it was a symbol for Atlantis in Batman vs Superman, or possibly a locking cheveron or symbol from Stargate.

  9. This shirt Is the Greek Symbol Lamda and it stands for wavelength and plays a role in the Big Bang Theory. The White Font with Red outline is consistent with Greek Symbol Lettering on College Fraternaty shirts.
